This thingy has been haunting me since I visited Australia, so I decided to write about it, as I feel that people living in those places are not aware of the problem.
So, people do you know that we, here in EASTERN EUROPE, do not have a limit on internet usage. Yes, that is right. We pay only for the service, meaning the speed. We can upload and download hundreds of GigaBytes of stuff 24/7 and never pay more than 25€ p/month ( at speed of 100Mb/s).
Sounds like a fairy tale doesn’t it?
And you know what else, there is free wifi basically everywhere (that too with unlimited use of course) HELLOOOO, not like in that ***”#¤%hole Australia, where the only place is McDonalds, where it seems that the internet is delivered by small midgets running to the netfactory and back to my phone, how slow can it get???! It is actually faster to use postal service down there! And the libraries where you get to use a stoneage computer for an hour with a limit of up to 100MB!!! 100MB are you kidding?? It’s not enough even to blink my eyes!
And you in CANADA, I know it’s the same for you, so stop laughing! It’s the same there isn’t it??
YOU ACT LIKE INTERNET IS SOMETHING THAT WE WILL RUN OUT OF.
WE ARE NOT!
I am told that the problem is because you have those great monopolies running the internet business, but I think It’s just a lame excuse. If you would be smart enough to demand more and pay less, for something that is not limited, you would be able to get out of the STONE AGES. Your companies should realize that the money is not FROM the internet but IN the INTERNET. It is much more profitable to keep people constantly connected.
So long folks,
I am going to download some movies now, before they get to the cinemas. FOR FREE!!
